Khao Sok National Park in the southern part of Thailand is a really special place! It is covered by the most ancient rain forest of the Earth. Enormous limestone peaks rise up to the sky, deep valleys, shimmering lakes, thrilling caves, diverse wildlife and a lot of other things all around. It has diverse wildlife and tourists can find a lot of exciting things here...

Its territory is 739 km² and Lake Chieow Larn can be found here, the water of which is dammed up by Ratchaprapha barrage. In the park you can see the largest virgin forest of South Thailand with the most ancient rain forest of the Earth which is much older and diversified than the Amazonas Rain Forest. Its wildlife is incredibly rich, including animals such as the Malaysian tapir, Asian elephant, tiger, sambar deer, bear, guar, banteng, serow, wild boar, pig tailed macaque, langur, white handed gibbon, squirrel, muntjak and mouse dear. Perhaps the most famous tourist attraction in the park is bua phut, the Earth’s largest flower.

13:00 Visit to a Traditional Thai pharmacy, tasting elixirs and teas

14:30 Break and refreshments at the lookout tower of Khao Kok mountain

15:30 Arrival at the National Park*, boat trip to the raft house, exploration on water (55 minutes) 16:30 Checking in the raft house

18:30 Dinner in the raft restaurant

20:00 Water safari at night (1 hour)

 

The second day

07:30 Breakfast in the restaurant

08:30 Water tour and wildlife exploration

Dripstone tour /Jungle tour (3 hours)**

13:00 Lunch in the restaurant

15:00 Returning from the hotel to the port. Boat journey (45 minutes)

17:00 Break with refreshment in a café
